Dove Shows Men Finding Out They Are Going to Be Fathers With Emotional Ad

In the last few years, Dove has come out with some pretty amazing, and pretty emotional, commercials that have had me reaching for my box of tissues- and their Father’s Day ad was no exception.

Just in time for the holiday, Dove released an emotional ad sharing a collection of moments of men finding out that they are going to be fathers for the first time. The clips are real-life footage of men’s honest and candid reactions to their other half’s news of her pregnancy. The reactions are touching, exciting and priceless. 

If that wasn’t amazing enough, the end of the ad features a message saying, “real strength means showing you care even from the very first moment.” Dove reports that the ad is to honor men for Father’s day but also as part of a Dove “Men+Care” campaign to demonstrate that showing care and love is a sign of a man’s real strength.

Even Ellen DeGeneres Can't Hold Back Tears After Giving an Amazing Teacher the Surprise of Her Life

Ellen DeGeneres is known for her random acts of enormous kindness and her love for surprising others, so when she heard about a heroic teacher in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she just had to acknowledge her amazing deeds on the show. But of course, in Ellen fashion, she wanted it to be a complete surprise. 

Sonya Romero thought she was just a part of the audience during a recent taping of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, but instead, halfway through the show Ellen called her down out of the audience to give her the attention she has long deserved. To show everyone what an amazing person Sonya really is, Ellen and her team had a video prepared that had been secretly filmed at her school. The emotional segment was made up of secret footage of her being the awesome teacher that she is, as well as other teachers, colleagues, former students, and current students talking about why she is such an amazing person. 

Sonya is a kindergarten teacher at Lew Wallace Elementary in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Each morning, she asks each of her students if they need anything to eat or any clothes to wear. With a limited school budget, she often takes money from her own pockets to help her young students out. But her support and caring for her students goes beyond the walls of the classroom. When Child Protective Services intervened with two of her students, being left with no temporary home to go to, Romero stepped in and took the children into her own home. Originally they were just supposed to stay with her for a few days till the school could figure something out, but she has officially been their foster mom for over six months now. 

By the end of the emotional segment, both Romero and her son, who was seated in the audience, were in tears- even Ellen needed a tissue. Ellen then surprised the incredible woman once again by presenting her with a $10,000 donation from Target and another separate $10,000 for her school.

Even In Death, Man's Gesture to His Wife Shows Us True Meaning of Valentine's Day

It becomes very difficult to feel negatively about Valentine’s Day after hearing this beautiful story. Even in death, a Wyoming man shows the world the true spirit and meaning of the holiday. 

Shelly Golay of Casper, Wyoming was shocked to received a large bouquet of flowers two days before Valentine’s Day this year. She assumed they were from her children, seeing as her husband, Jim Golay, passed away this past July. But then when she saw the note attached to the flowers she became very emotional and contacted the flower shop to tell them there had been a mistake. 

Shelly was stunned when the manager of the flower shop informed her that no mistake had been made, but before his death Jim had arranged for a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to Shelly every year for Valentine’s Day for the rest of her life.

Jim was diagnosed with a brain tumor last winter and tragically passed away in July. His heartwarming and moving gesture demonstrates love in its truest form and what Valentine’s Day is all about.

The note read: “Stay strong! Yours forever, Love Jim”

The emotional moment where a baby hears his mother and father's voices for the very first time was captured on camera and has now gone viral.

Watch as 7-week-old Lachlan experiences sound for the first time after being born severally deaf in both ears. Initially, he fusses and does not like the sensation of having a device shoved into his ear canal but his crying immediately stops when he hears the soothing sounds of his parents. Although he cannot describe the sensation with words, the huge smile that spreads across his face speaks for itself.
